Days 34 & 35: North Macedonia

I got up early and did a long tour on Day 34. In the evening, I found a camping spot and feel asleep as soon as I lay down.

I slept out. It had rained during the night and getting back to the street was it's own challenge, leaving my bike covered in thick mud.

The cycling on Day 35 lead me though a canyon. I set up camp a few kilometers from the border to Bulgaria. Thunderstorms and rain were close by while I set up the tent and the rain hit the tent right when I got inside.

North Macedonia was a pleasure to ride through. I mostly stayed on roads with little traffic and the occasional steep climbs were rewarded with beautiful views.
