My first Ski Tour

Two weeks ago, I went on a ski tour with two good friends. The trip was over a weekend. We drove to Innsbruck on Friday morning and spent the night there. The tour was from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. It started on Lager Walchen. We went 600 meters up which was more exhausting than I expected. We ended the first day on the Lizumer hut with excellent food and a Schnaps.

On the next day we climbed 400 meters onto the Mölser Scharte and started our descend.

The descend was less fun then I hoped. Rocks and bushes were looking out throughout the ski run. The snow was a few days old and pretty heavy. And two of members of our group were pretty inexperienced and insecure leading to lots of wait time.

On our drive back I was struck with how long the weekend had felt. Three days with friends, packed with new experiences. I am already looking forward to my next tour.
